Springer Protocols
Description

SpringerProtocols is the largest subscription-based online database of reproducible laboratory protocols in the biomedical and life sciences. Compiling protocols from the book series Methods in Molecular Biology and other sources, SpringerProtocols offers researchers access to nearly thirty years of tested, trusted, step-by-step protocols for immediate use in the lab. With an emphasis on comprehensiveness and clarity, each protocol is organized in an easily reproducible recipe style. Protocols are written by experts in the field and are reviewed by editors distinguished in their specific subject areas, as well as by an editorial board. SpringerProtocols is an invaluable resource for the modern research laboratory.

ICSD

Description

ICSD is the world's largest database for completely identified inorganic crystal structures. ICSD contains about 156,000 peer-reviewed data entries, including their atomic coordinates, dating back to 1973.

ICSD contains:

  • 1,675 crystal structures of the elements
  • 30,075 records for binary compounds
  • 58,371 records for ternary compounds
  • 55,754 records for quarternary and quintenary compounds

About 119,000 entries (75.9% of entries) have been assigned a structure type. There are currently 6,357 structure prototypes.

Cambridge Structural Database (CSD)

Alternative Titles
CSD
Description

Cambridge Structural Database is a repository for small-molecule organic and metal-organic crystal structure. It contains over 500,000 x-ray and neutron diffraction analyses. It provides 3D structures with respective coverage of the published literature. The structural data is curated and enriched with bibliographic, chemical and physical property information. More than 40,000 new structures are added to the database each year. The database is useful for Crystallography, Structure-based drug design, Medicinal chemistry, Pharmaceutical formulation and development, Material science, and Education.
