APTA Hooked on Evidence
A database of research articles from peer-reviewed journals that are summarized by physical therapists. The articles range from case reports to randomized controlled research studies. All studies of the effectiveness of physical therapy that meet the following criteria are eligible for inclusion in the database: 1) includes human subjects with the target condition, 2) includes at least one physical therapy intervention, 3) includes an outcome of the intervention, and 4) published in English in a peer-reviewed journal that is indexed

PubMed Central® (PMC) is a free archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM). In keeping with NLM’s legislative mandate to collect and preserve the biomedical literature, PMC serves as a digital counterpart to NLM’s extensive print journal collection. Launched in February 2000, PMC was developed and is managed by NLM’s National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).

Over 2.8 million records. Provides full text for over 770 journals and 275 monographs. Indexing for journals, books and book chapters, dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, pamphlets, educational software packages and audiovisual material. Internal subject thesaurus with over 7,000 terms—2,000 unique to CINAHL.
