International Index to Music Periodicals (IIMP) Full Text
Indexes over 425 scholarly and popular music periodicals from more than twenty countries, plus full text for around 140 journals. The database currently includes over 770,000 article records, the majority of which are journal articles from 1996 onward. Around 200,000 index records in IIMP Full Text are from the backfile (up to 1995) and much of this coverage commences at the first issue of the journal run, some starting as early as 1874.
IIMP Full Text covers a comprehensive range of subject areas in both scholarly and popular music journals ranging from International Journal of Music Education, Ethnomusicology, Jazz Education Journal and Musical Times to Rock and Rap Confidential and Rolling Stone. Available through Web of Science, allows searching for articles that cite a known author or work, as well as searching by subject, author, journal, and author address. Indexes 1,100 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals.
Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects (DARE)
The Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects (DARE) is the only database to contain abstracts of systematic reviews that have been quality-assessed. Each abstract includes a summary of the review together with a critical commentary about the overall quality. DARE is a key resource can be used for answering questions about the effects of specific interventions, whether such questions arise from practice or when making policy. DARE covers a broad range of health related interventions and thousands of abstracts of reviews in fields as diverse as diagnostic tests, public health, health promotion, pharmacology, surgery, psychology, and the organization and delivery of health care. DARE complements the CDSR by quality-assessing and summarizing reviews that have not yet been carried out by The Cochrane Collaboration.
JSTOR
Provides full-text access to the archives of core scholarly journals in the arts, humanities, social sciences and sciences. Includes content from ten of the eleven JSTOR multi-disciplinary Journals Archives Collections (Arts & Sciences I through IX; and Life Sciences) and nearly all of the JSTOR discipline-specific Journals Archives Collections (Biological Sciences, Business I and II, Ecology & Botany, Health & General Sciences, Language & Literature, Mathematics & Statistics, and Music).
In addition, JSTOR now also includes the full text of current issues (up to the latest issue) for selected journals from selected publishers, including the University of Chicago Press.
