America's Historical Newspapers allows users to search more than 1,000 U.S. historical newspapers published between 1690 and 1922, including titles from all 50 states. The full-text database enables researchers to explore virtually every aspect of America during the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. The collection currently includes the following three series:

Searchable index of most articles published in the Detroit Free Press from 1831-1922 and from 1999-present. Provides citation and first paragraph only; full text accessible on microfilm (Grad. Library FILM X442).

1831 - 1922, 1999 - (Indexing only)

Contains over 230 texts by pre-Victorian women that can be browsed, searched and analysed. Additionally, Renaissance Women Online contains a subset of 100 WWP texts, introductions of individual works & essays on the cultural context of the period.

American FactFinder is an online source for accessing population, housing, economic and geographic data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Data available include: Decennial Census of Housing and Population - 2000 and 2010 Results from each of these data programs are provided in the form of data sets, tables, thematic maps, and reference maps.

Linguistics & Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA) abstracts and indexes the international literature in linguistics and related disciplines in the language sciences. The database covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. Complete coverage is given to various fields of linguistics including descriptive, historical, comparative, theoretical and geographical linguistics. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,500 serials publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, and dissertations.

Siku Quanshu was compiled between 1773 and 1782 under the edict of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, China. Containing more than 3,460 works with a total of more than 36,000 volumes, it is the most comprehensive collection of Chinese scholarship up to the 18th century. It covers a wide variety of subjects in humanities, science, and social sciences. The electronic version of Wenyuange Siku Quanshu is a full-text retrieval system that includes the digitized texts as well as the images of the original pages of the entire Siku Quanshu and a few other useful tools. This database is licensed for 1 simultaneous user.

Includes citations to Classical Studies articles in 1,500 journals and 500 collections & conference papers in French, English, German, Italian and Spanish, 1924-2007.

The Acta Sanctorum Database is a searchable electronic version of the hagiographical materials published by the Société des Bollandistes. Coverage from the two January volumes published in 1643 to the Propylaeum to December published in 1940.

Provides access to over 250 text, image, bibliographic, and finding aid collections created and maintained by the Digital Library Production Service (DLPS) of the University of Michigan University Library (MLibrary), comprising over a million digital objects.  Includes all collections in the University of Michigan's Humanities Text Initiative, as well as collections sponsored by the MPublishing division of the University Library.
