Zoological Record, produced by BIOSIS, provides extensive coverage of the world's zoological and animal science literature, covering research from biochemistry to veterinary medicine. The database provides an easily searched collection of references from over 4,500 international serial publications, plus books, meetings, reviews and other non serial literature from over 100 countries.
Covers relevant papers on evolutionary biology, economics, and systems analysis as they relate to ecosystems or the environment.
Pollution Abstracts provides access to environmental information concerning scientific research and government policies on atmosphere, emissions, and environmental action in response to global pollution issues.
Applied Science and Technology Full Text covers 350+ key, international English-language periodicals in the applied sciences and technology. It is a good source of information on management, careers and employment, and financial trends in the scientific and technological fields. It abstracts interviews, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, discussions, corrections, continued articles, new product reviews, new product announcements, technically valuable editorials and letters, tables, charts, diagrams, buyers' guides, directories, and conference proceedings; it also cites book reviews. Each record contains a bibliographic citation. Full text is included for many of the articles.
Combined access to Chemical Abstracts CAPlus, Registry, CASREACT, CHEMLIST, CHEMCAT databases and Medline. Search by chemical structure or substructure, reaction, name, formula, etc., or by natural language query. Biological and Agricultural Index is a bibliographic database that cites articles from more than 300 periodicals. Periodical coverage includes a wide range of scientific journals, from popular to professional, that pertain to biology, agriculture, forestry and ecology. It indexes English-language periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere. Full text is included for many of the articles published since 1994.
Provides full-text access to the archives of core scholarly journals in the arts, humanities, social sciences and sciences. Includes content from ten of the eleven JSTOR multi-disciplinary Journals Archives Collections (Arts & Sciences I through IX; and Life Sciences) and nearly all of the JSTOR discipline-specific Journals Archives Collections (Biological Sciences, Business I and II, Ecology & Botany, Health & General Sciences, Language & Literature, Mathematics & Statistics, and Music).
In addition, JSTOR now also includes the full text of current issues (up to the latest issue) for selected journals from selected publishers, including the University of Chicago Press.
