The ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) database is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education to provide extensive access to educational-related literature. This version of ERIC allows you to limit results to peer-reviewed journal articles. The ERIC database corresponds to two printed journals: Resources in Education (RIE) and Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE). Both journals provide access to some 14,000 documents and over 20,000 journal articles per year.

Coverage of trade, technical, and scientific literature in water resources and supplies, water quality, water and waste analysis, water treatment, underground services and water use, sewage, industrial effluent, and the effects of pollution.

Late 1950s -

Indexes and abstracts federal statistical publications since 1974, business and state government publications since 1980, and international agency publications since 1983. Provides links to full text of 15% of federal publications.

The Metadex database provides comprehensive coverage of international literature on the science and practice of metallurgy.

1966 -

Indexes reports on government sponsored R&D from selected federal agencies (e.g. Department of Energy, EPA), their contractors, and their grantees (e.g. U of M).

1964 -

Indexes journal articles, conference proceedings, books, book reviews & dissertations in the history of science, technology, and medicine & allied historical fields. Integrates four bibliographies: the Isis Current Bibliography of the History of Science, the Current Bibliography in the History of Technology (Technology and Culture), the Bibliografia Italiana di Storia della Scienza, and the Wellcome Library for the History and Understanding of Medicine.

1975 -

A multidisciplinary database with abstracts and citations drawn from over 5980 serials including scientific journals, conference proceedings, reports, monographs, books and government publications.

1981-

Contains over 4,800 technical reports published by the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan.

1916 - 2001

Provides comprehensive coverage of all areas of ceramics manufacturing, processing, and applications including commercial and economic information, legislation and standards, and health and safety aspects.

1975 -

Covers journal articles, monographs, technical reports, theses, and other literature in all areas of toxicology, including chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pesticides, environmental pollutants, and mutagens and teratogens.
