This collection provides a detailed view of American feature films produced during the last century, compiled by specialist researchers at the AFI. Includes full production and cast information as well as extensive plot summaries, notes, and citations to reviews and articles in industry periodicals. Documents 45,000 American films from 1893-1950 and 1961-1970. More than 17,500 entries cover the early years of American film from 1893 to 1910.

Provides a detailed view of American feature films produced during the last century, compiled by specialist researchers at the AFI. Includes full production and cast information as well as extensive plot summaries, notes, and citations to reviews and articles in industry periodicals. Documents more than 48,000 American films from 1893-1972. More than 17,500 entries cover the early years of American film from 1893 to 1910. Also includes detailed information on AFI's Top 10 films (recipients of the AFI Top Ten Movies of the Year Awards) for each year from 2000 to the present.

This database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 260 scholarly and popular performing arts periodicals. The database currently includes half a million records, the majority from the most recent ten years of each journal. It also retrospectively indexes 63 periodical titles as far back as 1864. MLA International Bibliography
The MLA International Bibliography is a subject index for books, articles and websites published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and film. It is produced by the Modern Language Association (MLA), an organization dedicated to the study and teaching of language and literature. The electronic version of the Bibliography dates back to 1925 and contains over 2 million citations from more than 4,400 periodicals (including peer-reviewed e-journals) and 1,000 book publishers. It is compiled by the staff of the MLA Department of Bibliographic Information Services with the cooperation of more than 100 contributing bibliographers in the United States and abroad. Such international coverage is represented by literature from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North and South America, and while the majority of records are from English-language publications, at least sixty other languages are represented including French, Spanish, German, Russian, Portuguese, Norwegian, and Swedish.

An index to over 14 million articles in more than 4,250 humanities and social science journals, from their first issues through 1995. Includes full text of articles for 650 of the journals covered. Covers many older journals not indexed electronically anywhere else.
