6 Essential Social Technologies for Health Sciences Faculty Social technologies are web-based software applications that allow users to interact with each other to share data and information. This poster introduces six "essential" social technologies for health sciences faculty - networking in online communities, collaborative writing, realtime communication, social tagging and multi-media sharing.

New Electronic Resource AccessMedicine provides access to information for completing evaluations, diagnoses, case management decisions, conducting research, medical education, and self-assessment or board review. Over 30 clinical and educational online textbooks are available.
