Taubman Health Sciences Library
The easiest way to place holds or recalls on items from any UM library is to do so directly in Mirlyn. First Login and then search for the items of interest to you. When you find a particular copy that you would like (by clicking on Location in the list of titles), a "Get This" will appear if it can be held or recalled. If the item is currently available, clicking on "Get This" will send word to the owning library, which will initiate a Library-to-Library delivery of your requested item. If the item is checked out, clicking on "Get This" will place a recall on it.
You can also use this form to forward your recall requests to us via e-mail. Before you do, please make sure you have also checked Mirlyn to ensure the item is not a journal or currently located in a reserve location, as holds and recalls cannot be placed on these.
If you need information about how to use Mirlyn, click here to go to the Mirlyn catalog and consult the "Need Help?" section near the bottom right of the screen. If you have any questions about the status of an item or whether it is eligible for a recall, please call us at 764-1210.
Then fill out each of the boxes below (using as many of the item call number, title and author boxes as you need). The call number and title information is necessary for us to process your request. The author information is optional, but might be very helpful if it is available.
There is no limit to the number of items we can hold or recall for you, or to the number of times you may use this form. Please contact us if you have any questions about this or any of our services. Call us at 764-1210 or send e-mail (send to TMLCirculation@umich.edu).
Thanks!
