While SPO primarily is a publisher of electronic content, we also understand the value and utility of print. Rather than a one-size-fits-all solution, we believe that the best publication format varies in relationship to its uses and its users. To this end, we offer print services to supplement our electronic publishing ones, including the set-up and sale of print-on-demand reprints and small print runs of books and journals. The Michigan Historical Reprint Series contains several thousand public domain titles from the Library’s digital collections, which are created from a digital reformatting process. This process results in an electronic version of the text that can both be accessed online and used to create new print copies. Print copies are also available from ACLS Humanities E-Book, as well as from the SPO Scholarly Monograph Series and Global Publics Series.
