Poster, 1906: The top section of the poster represents a composite symbol, referring to the royal and princely families that ruled Armenia over the centuries through the various coat of arms; Noah's arc resting on Mount Ararat, referring to Armenia; and the royal crown of Armenia at the top. The woman dressed in classical garb symbolizes the destruction of Armenian civilization as she sits among the desolate ruins of the famous medieval Armenian city of Ani, once a thriving metropolis, but laid to ruin by successive invasions. In the lower section is King Levon VI, the last king of Cilicia and the last Armenian king.
