Current Journals Available Through the Social Work Library

Scope note: This is an alphabetical list of journals to which the Social Work Library currently subscribes and which are available full-text through a number of different databases. If a journal is available via the Internet using an electronic database, the database will be listed in the second column, followed by a link to the full text issues. In some instances after clicking the link you will need to navigate through the database to access the specific journal you want.

Note: You must be a current U-M student, faculty, or staff member to access full-text articles from off-campus.

The last column of this list shows the earliest issue the Social Work Library has available in print. In order to save space in the Social Work Library, some earlier journal issues may be stored at the Buhr Shelving Facility. These issues can be delivered to the Social Work Library within a day or two by logging into Mirlyn and requesting it via the "Get This" link; if the particular volume is not listed in Mirlyn but seems to be available, request the item by filling out the Buhr Request Form. For the most complete information on the journal in which you are interested and where it is housed, please consult the Mirlyn catalog or Find E-Journals feature in Search Tools. There is also an expanded list of online journals related to the discipline of social work.
