If you are searching for an historical perspective on a religious topic, it is important to note that terminology changes over time. You should search for all variations in the catalog, for example, to find histories on African Americans, you may need to use the key terms of the period, such as "Negro" or "Colored" before 1960 and "Afro-Americans" during the decades 1960 and 1970. Also try spelling out abbreviations in the catalog, for example, instead of FBO try faith-based organization.
