Exhibit space in the Social Work Library is available for use by the School of Social Work (SSW) faculty, staff and students and by the Social Work Library (SWL) staff.
Exhibits are expected to provide an objective presentation of the topic and
may not be used to promote personal, commercial, religious, or political positions.
Any member of the School of Social Work community may propose an exhibit. Proposals submitted by groups as well as individuals are accepted. Proposals should be directed to the Head of the Social Work Library as far in advance of the proposed exhibit as possible (a minimum of three months in advance is requested) using the SWL Exhibit Request Form.
Any or all of the following exhibit spaces in the Social Work Library may be requested for exhibit:
The exhibitor's responsibilities are as follows:
SWL staff are happy to assist as possible with installation and dismantling.
Exhibitors are encouraged to publicize their exhibits through SSW and UM channels. A web presence to an exhibit is especially effective in drawing interest.
The SWL can post information about the exhibit on its web page, including a link to an exhibit-specific page developed by the exhibitors.
The protection of exhibit materials is not guaranteed by the Social Work Library, the University Library or the School of Social Work. All personal property is left at the owner’s risk.
