About General Search

General Search is an integrated access tool to quickly locate items in the Mirlyn Library Catalog, the database list within Search Tools, the Electronic Journals and Newspapers pages, and the Library's Web pages:

• Library Catalog: Mirlyn: The search box initiates a basic words anywhere search within Mirlyn.
• Find Databases: The search box initiates a keyword search for databases within the Search Tools database list.
• Find e-Journals: The search box initiates a keyword search of titles featured in the Electronic Journals and Newspapers pages.
• Library Web Pages : The search box initiates a Google search of the Library's Web pages. This search does not include a search within the Mirlyn Library catalog, or within any of the many databases to which the Library subscribes.
