Welcome to the Shapiro Science Library!
The Shapiro Science Library is one of the largest science libraries in the country with over 400,000 print volumes and numerous electronic resources available. The Library supports research and teaching in the fields of astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology, mathematics, natural resources, physics, and statistics. It occupies the 3rd floor (3rd floor map) and 4th floor (4th floor map) of the Shapiro Library Building, centrally located on campus (Map of central campus location of the Science Library ).
The tour will help you get acquainted with the facility and our available services and resources. It follows the route a tour of the actual library would typically take or you may jump to specfic stops by clicking on a location in the list in the bottom left section. Each stop has an accompanying floor map in the upper left section,with the tour-stop location indicated in red.
