Evaluating Articles

In most cases, you will want articles from peer reviewed journals, rather than from non-scholarly magazines. If you are unsure of the difference between the two, go to our Peer-Reviewed Journal vs. Magazine webpage for an explanation:

Some journal articles describe one individual research. Others, called review articles, summarize the research literature on a specific topic over a specific time period. Review articles can be a good starting point for your research. Some databases allow you to limit your search to results on review articles.
