Science Library

The Shapiro Science Library is one of over 20 libraries at the University of Michigan. Most of the library collections are linked electronically, so that information can be searched without having to physically be present at any particular location. However, print resources may require a trip to the owning library.

The Science Library is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Shapiro Building. It has a large collection of materials on the physical sciences (Taubman Medical Library covers the life sciences) Many of our journals are available full-text online. All journals and reference materials are on the 3rd floor, while books and maps are housed on the 4th floor. A good way to familiarize yourself with the layout is to visit the Science Library Virtual Tour webpage.
