Getting Started

Remote Access

As a University of Michigan student, you have access to online materials anywhere in the world although you will need to authenticate first to log into certain databases. A Proxy Server allows for remote access to journals and networked electronic resources. The Proxy Server acts as an intermediary for your computer and the servers on campus. For more information about remote access, go to the UM Library's Off-Campus Access to Library Resources page.
