SAND-Central

SAND-Central is located on Central Campus on the 2nd floor of the Hatcher Graduate Library, with the Documents Center. We are open for use Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, when the Graduate Library is open. A SAND librarian is available to assist by appointment. Please call or email to make an appointment.

SAND-Central is equipped with three computers, each with two 19" LCD monitors. The computers were replaced in the summer of 2008. An extensive suite of software is available on each, including ArcGIS 9.3, Google Earth, Erdas IMAGINE, Stata, SPSS, StatTransfer, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Two machines are available with Google Earth Pro.

SAND-North

SAND-North is located on North Campus in the Art and Architecture building, in room 2207. For the Fall 2009 semester, we are open Monday through Thursday, from 1 to 5 PM.

SAND-North is equipped with six computers, each with a 20" or larger LCD monitor. Five of the computers are new as of August 2009. An extensive suite of software is available on each, including ArcGIS 9.3, AutoCAD 2009, Rhino, Google Earth Pro, SPSS and other modeling and statistics packages.
