Note on Submit-by Date

We accept reserves request throughout the term, up to and including the last day of exams.

The submit-by dates were chosen to give the Reserves Office ample time to:

• obtain books that are not owned by the University
• recall books that are currently checked out
• scan items and check them for accuracy before the term begins

Due to ever-increasing demand for reserves (especially electronic reserves), the earlier a list is submitted, the better. Requests placed in the weeks just prior to and after the start of classes inevitably end up in a bottleneck.
