Aaron McCollough, Editorial Director of Michigan Publishing (including the University of Michigan Press) discusses the library's on-going efforts to find a sustainable model for publishing high quality scholarship in support of a range of academic needs — including the preservation and dissemination of ideas as well as the professional vetting of those ideas for hiring and tenure processes.

Monthly Emergent Research conversations address the research lifecycle. Events are intended to give a better understanding of the various types of research undertaken across campus, particularly as they relate to library services and support, opportunities for collaboration, and data management and preservation.
