Publishing Production

Publishing Production is a unit of the Publishing division of the University Library. Its staff perform copyediting, conversion to XML, and layout/typesetting for print for the University of Michigan Press imprint, and conversion of content into standard formats for ingest into DLXS and HathiTrust under various MPublishing imprints. Staff members also manage continuing relationships with established publishing partners for certain publishing services.

We also occasionally offer workshops on digital publishing for U-M students, faculty, and staff.
