"Robyn, a twenty-year-old Smith College student from New Jersey, writes about feminism, contradictions of the hardcore scene, and her love of Mötley Crüe in her text-heavy personal zine. Issue 3 focuses on class, labor, and gender, and includes articles about the politics of welfare reform, women and factories in Mexico since NAFTA, and the conservative Evangelical Christian organization Promise Keepers. She also includes a biography of Rita Hayworth, pages on Ayn Rand, a feminist comparative analysis of the films Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy, and journal entries from her participation in the AFL-CIO Union Summer 1997 internship program. In addition to essays, there are poems, collages, and show reviews."
