Plain Language Medical Dictionary

Translates common medical terms into plain language, using definitions that were created by the U.S. government. Work on the Plain Language Medical Dictionary  was performed under a subcontract with the University of Illinois at Chicago, and made possible by grant from the National Library of Medicine (NLM).
