The Duderstadt Center will be temporarily closed on May 18, from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while maintenance to the electrical system is performed. Power in the building will be shut off during that time.

A multimedia installation featuring music, art, and video by Doctor of Musical Arts candidate Sam L. Richards, with choreography by Maxx Passion and Brittany Whitmoyer. Dancers include Maddy Rager, Nola Smith, Stefania Spadaro-Bliss, Allie Harris, Lynsey Colden, along with performers Elizabeth Soukup (double bass) and Adrianne Pope (violin).

In Between Worlds

In Between Worlds, an integrative project by Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design senior Elaine Czech, reimagines humans' relationship with primates through a series of carved wooden masks inspired by Japanese Noh Theater masks.

Creative Process (UARTS 250) is designed to give students intensive, hands-on experience, in creative work in a range of modalities:  sound, visual images & objects, movement, space, and language. The work the students produce during the semester always challenges and often astonishes them. Come and view their final projects.

Reading

April 29 is the day of Greek poet Constantine Cavafy's birth (1836) AND death (1933). In celebration of his life and work we will host an "open mike" event in which faculty, students, artists, and community members are invited to offer readings from testimonies of the poet.
