Alexander Street Press has recently added content to four of its streaming audio and video resources.
UM Library recently began subscribing to 2 resources that may be of interest to users at the Art, Architecture & Engineering Library.
The Taubman Health Sciences Library has received an Elsevier Foundation grant to finance the enhancement of education, research and practice in emergency medicine in Ghana.
The Duderstadt Gallery will feature photographs by David Turnley of Nelson Mandela and the South African struggle. David Turnley is a Pulitzer-Prize winning photographer, and a professor in the Stamps School of Art and Design. He is also a friend of the Mandela family and has been covering the struggle in South Africa for thirty years.
The University of Michigan Library has digitized the complete set of Selma Inter-religious Project Newsletters and made them available to the public via the HathiTrust Digital Library. The newsletters document the civil rights struggle in Alabama from 1965 to 1974.
On January 6 the U-M Library welcomed Brendan Haug, archivist of the Papyrology Collection and assistant professor in the Department of Classical Studies. Haug holds degrees from the University of Washington and the University of California Berkeley.
