Depositing a Master's Thesis

School of Music graduate students are encouraged to deposit their master's theses in the Music Library. To do so, you must submit two bound copies of your thesis to the Music Library. Two local binderies that can bind your thesis are Bessenberg Bindery (215 N. Fifth Ave.) and Kolossos (310 E. Washington).

In each copy of the thesis, you must include a signed copy of the Music Library's master's paper distribution agreement. This form gives you the option of granting or not granting the library permission to reproduce your thesis.

After you submit your thesis to the Music Library, it is cataloged and entered into Mirlyn. One non-circulating copy is retained in the Music Library, while one circulating copy is held at Buhr.
