Charles Reynolds Remembered

October 6, 2011

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Charles Reynolds.

Charles joined the Music Library in 1993, and became Head of the Music Library in 2002. As a member of the Musicology Department in the U-M School of Music, Theatre & Dance, he taught a bibliography of music course to graduate students in performance, composition and music theory. A talented musician and outstanding librarian, Charles held degrees from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, Yale University, and the University of Illinois. Charles also worked locally as a professional organist and choir director.

Our thoughts are with his family, campus colleagues, and many friends at this sad time.
