Rebecca Welzenbach, Journals Coordinator at Michigan Publishing, takes you through the process of starting a new academic journal, including an overview of planning for your journal's mission, focus, and anticipated audience. She also covers managing an existing publication's editorial and peer review, as well as tools for ensuring that your journal can publish content in a timely and consistent fashion and via accessible, discoverable, and preservable means.
