Iincludes two interesting items from Washington Irving: his two-volume Chronicle of the Conquest of Granada (Philadelphia, 1829, marked as first) and The Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus (New York, 1829). Noah Webster's Improved Grammar of the English Language (New Haven, 1831), as well as the Old Farmer's Almanac of 1860, John Blake's Atlas (New York, 1826, poor condition), The Family Visitor of 1841 in original cloth, Webster and Parkes's Encyclopaedia of Domestic Economy (New York, 1849) and The Experienced American Housekeeper, or Domestic Cookery (Hartford, 1838). Condition varies, but mainly in original bindings.
