Quick Guide to Updating DLXS Documentation

This document describes how to update DLXS documentation ( http://www.dlxs.org/docs/ ).

On clamato and only on clamato:

1. Modify the files you need to in /l1/web/d/dlxs/docs/[release_number]
2. Preview at http://dev-linux.umdl.umich.edu/d/dlxs/docs/
3. Follow the SWISH-E step under Documentation Edits and the second rdist step under Deploying the Release, both in the DLXS Release Process.

Updating just the "wiki externals"

There are certain files used in the DLXS wiki documentation which are best stored outside of the wiki. We have a separate rdist script for these. To put new files in production, do the following:
