Digital Conversion Services

Digital Conversion Services offers a variety of digitization services to the University Library, other University of Michigan units, and external non-profit customers. We can transform original materials including books, photographs, journal volumes, rare documents and artifacts to digital format for you. In addition, we can provide liaison to our Information Retrieval group if you wish to put materials online as part of the library's digital collections.

Our staff will work with you to determine the best type of digital capture for a particular resource based on the nature of the original material and its potential use. Each staff member specializes in digitization methods appropriate to particular types of materials.
