Please join us on Wednesday, September 23rd, from 10:00am – 11:30am in the Ehrlicher Room at West Hall for a timely talk by Professor Ted Bergstrom of the University of California, Santa Barbara. Professor Bergstrom has been collaborating with Paul Courant and Preston McAfee to learn about the deals behind Big Deals and find out what the contracts really say, and he will be speaking about the results of that research. The Aaron and Cherie Raznick Chair of Economics in the UCSB’s Economics Department, Professor Bergstrom has written extensively about journal pricing, electronic resources, and the costs Open Access publishing.
