Wikis (from the Hawaiian for “quick”) are websites created with special software that makes writing and linking between web pages incredibly easy. Wikipedia is probably the largest and most famous, but there are thousands of wikis being used for documentation, guides -- anything where you want a community to be able to easily and collaboratively build a resource.
