About the Projects
As a part of the forum sessions, we'd like to encourage all library staff to experiment with the web2.0 technologies and share their ideas and projects with other staff. We've organized 2 ways to do this:
"Workshop Tasks - 13 Things"
MLibrary 2.0 - 13 Things
Every workshop ends in a challenge to complete 2 quick tasks (called "Things") using the technology learned in that session. Create a blog (Thing #1!) and post your thoughts/results on each thing to your blog as a separate post. Each person who completes all 13 Things will be recognized at the Project Share event on August 21 and receive a certificate noting their accomplishment.
Anyone can participate!
You don't have to attend workshops to participate in the 13 Things! If you already know how to use some of the tools, or want to learn on your own. Just follow along with the 13 Things at your own pace (be sure to complete everything by August 17):
If you choose, we can add your feed for your blog posts to the 13 Things SuperFeed, allowing everyone to learn and share from each other (link coming soon!)
"Project Share"
MLibrary 2.0 - Project Share Blog
Do you have an idea for a project and want to find someone to work on it with you? Want to get some feedback or help from other staff? Use the MLibrary 2.0 - Project Share Blog to connect with other library staff.
Here is a feed of the most recent 5 posts to this blog:
Completed projects and those who work on them will be recognized at the Project Share event on August 21.
