Who We Are

Core staff

Eric Frierson: Eric is the manager of the staff at the Knowledge Navigation Center. He earned his Masters in Information from the School of Information at UM and a Bachelors Degree in English and Computer Science from the University of Texas. In addition to his supervisory role at the KNC, Eric is also a member of the Graduate Library reference staff as Instructional Technology Librarian.

Jennifer Brandon: Jenny is an Information Resources Specialist for the KNC and the Graduate Library Information Center. She received her MLIS in 2005 from Wayne State University. She also has a BA in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Michigan State University and gained experience working for the Library of Michigan and the Michigan State University Library.

Josh Morse: Josh is the current KNC University Library Associate, and a master’s student at the School of Information. He has a B.S. in computer science and a B.A. in English from Hope College. His professional interests are in instructional technology, and he enjoys both writing software and teaching software to others. In his free time he likes to bike, hike, snowshoe, read, tinker with his websites, and play board games.

Maddalena Rumor and Rafia Mirza: Shevon and Maddalena are University Library Associates assigned to the Reference Department, and students at the School of Information.
