"بسم الله الرووف الرحيم نبتدي بعون الله تعالي وحسن ارشاده بنص سيرة القس نصير الاسكندراني وابنه مرقس بسلام الرب امين. الحمد لله فاحص الامور الذي نقلنا من الظلمه الي النور وعتقنا من العدو الغدور فلنسبحه علي ممر الازمان والدهور ونستشفع بصلاة مريم ام النور ونساله يزكي افهامنا وينير اذهاننا امين. قال كان بمدينة اسكندريه كاهنا يدعي القس نصير وله زوجه قديسه تسما طابيتا التي تاويلها غزال وكانوا اغنيا جدا لكن كانوا موجوعين القلوب من اجل عدم الدريه لانهم لم يكن لهما ولد قط وكانوا يكتران الطلبه الي الله سبحانه وتعالي ان يرزقهما ولدا يرث غناهما ..."

Script:
Naskh ; large, bold, somewhat angular Egyptian hand ; partially seriffed with blob / dot head-serif on occasional ascender (even free-standing alif), point of final nūn often set quite deep and nearly encircled by bowl, pointing in distinct dots, alif maqṣūrah pointed as yāʼ, kāf mashqūqah preferred (even final kāf), extensively vocalized ; pages 19, 20, 24, 25 supplied in a different hand.
Support:
European laid paper with 6-7 laid lines per cm. (horizontal), chain lines spaced 29 mm. apart (vertical) and three crescents watermark (see p.10, 11, etc.) ; fairly thick and sturdy, burnished.
Binding:
Boards covered in textured maroon cloth ; Western style binding ; upper and lower covers embossed with diamond-shaped central ornament with intersecting vertical and horizontal cartouches ; sewn in white thread, six stations ; overall in good condition.
