Naskh ; two main, clear 'Syrian' hands ; opening hand virtually serifless, with effect of tilt to the left, rounded with curvilinear descenders, rightward descenders tapered, pointing in strokes rather than distinct dots, kāf mashqūqah preferred (even final kāf) ; hand changes around p.471, extensively seriffed with right-sloping head-serifs, pointing in distinct dots, adheres closely to baseline, only occasional very slight effect of tilt to the left.
