European laid paper with 9-10 laid lines per cm. (vertical), chain lines spaced 28 mm. apart (horizontal), and three crescents watermark (perpendicular to the chains, 95 mm. tall, see pp.10, 28-30, etc.) ; well-sized and burnished, sturdy.
