Archives & Records Management
In addition to the useful pages at the School of Information website, there are some other locations and suggestions you might find useful.
Collections
Most of the resources you will need are located in one of three libraries:
- ILSL - Primarily print and digital archives focused, with some resources on other formats. Excellent for archives associated with libraries and special collections.
- Kresge Business Library - A good resource for records management and retention information, and role of archives in a business setting.
- Art, Architecture and Engineering Library - Excellent for art, photography, and digital archives resources.

While there are numerous sites around the web of interest to archivists, the ones below are some of the more useful.

Journals
Journals for archives and records management are not listed on the Electronic Journals page, so they must be found using searches in MIRLYN:a subject search on "Archives--Periodicals" (without the quotes)
and/or
a subject search on "Records Management--Periodicals" (without the quotes)A similar search may be done on the MENTOR catalog for the Business Library.
