The University of Michigan offers Digitization on Demand of non-circulating, out-of-copyright library materials.

Note on payment by invoice: You will be invoiced when appropriate; we accept payment by credit card and/or money order. We do not accept checks from outside the U.S. & Canada. International institutions may pay with two (2) IFLA vouchers.

Digitization on Demand

The University of Michigan now offers Digitization on Demand for non-circulating and out of copyright library materials.  Books are scanned to digital library standards. If you would like a digital copy of a book from our general collection published before 1923, or from our Special Collections Library, please fill out this form and we will contact you with an estimate. The following fees apply:

  • 1-50 pages, $50.00
  • 51-150 pages, $90.00
  • 151-340 pages, $160.00
  • 341+ pages or heavily illustrated, by estimate only

Please note: If not paid through IFM, add $5.00. Also, IFLA coupons are not accepted for this service.
