Resources for Alumni and the Community

This guide provides information for health care professionals who are not current students, faculty or staff of the University of Michigan. It includes information on services provided by Taubman Medical Library, Public Health Library & Informatics, and the Dentistry Library as well as links to major online resources of general interest to health care practitioners. Unfortunately, due to publishers' restrictions, UM cannot offer online access to databases and electronic journals to which we subscribe. However, more and more electronic articles are being made available free of charge these days (see Open Access Publishing: http://www.lib.umich.edu/taubman/eres/data/about/pubguide.html#openaccess). The online resources listed below are available without cost, although some of the library services have fees.
