The University of Michigan’s classification system for staff changed in 2005 to a career-based framework that is more closely linked to market titles and descriptions. While the Library’s staff titles are predominantly in the Libraries and Museums Career Family, the Library has titles that reside in several other career families such as Information Technology, Finance, and Human Resources.
