Foreign Government Gazettes
List of foreign government legal gazettes by country with their links, contents, language, time coverage, and any subscription information. Caroline Crouse and Anthony Davis created this web site in 2003 after an alternative Spring Break working for the United Nations Dag Hammarskjold Library. Updates from users are welcome.
GODORT Handout Exchange
A multitude of handouts and web guides from library government documents departments around the nation. Guides range from subject-based materials, such as the University of Colorado's extensive country information list to League of Nations Documents, as well as guides to using CD-ROMS and administering a government documents collection. The University of Michigan originally sponsored the Handout Exchange on its gopher in 1994 and maintained it on its web site until 2007, when it was adopted by the Government Document Documents Round Table of ALA.
Historical Census Publications
Lists of print and internet resources from the U.S. Decennial Census, 1790-2000 and a complete inventory of printed, online, microform, online, microdata, and map resources available at the University of Michigan. Also includes the availability of block maps by city, 1940-1980; available of small area data (election ward, block, tract, and enumeration district) for Ann Arbor and Detroit, 1860 to present; census question database and spreadsheet, 1790-2000; a powerpoint for obtaining 2000 census data, and a powerpoint for accessing microdata using the PDQ Explore software.
