Private support has been important to the University Library since its early days in the 1800s. The largest gifts ever made to the Library came as a result of bequests by University of Michigan alumni and friends.
There are many ways to make a planned gift to the University Library. Your attorney, accountant, or financial advisor can help you explore which option is the best for you. The Library Development staff will be happy to answer any questions you might have related to your gift.
