Massachusetts book artist and binder Daniel Kelm presents his recent work. Kelm is noted for his blend of contemporary art and tradition in the creation of highly sculptural bookbindings and ingenious book structures.

The sculptural book Religio Mathmatica begins as a closed cube but opens to reveal interesting shapes. The inventive binding involves a thin metal wire along the hinging edge of each page, with the metal wire exposed at regular intervals to create knotting stations where thread attaches one page to the next.
