Jerome Rothenberg reads from A Cruel Nirvana, which is a collection of his previously published poetry. Join us for a little poetry...and pizza!
Rothenberg is a poet, translator, and anthologist. The influence of his work in these areas is impossible to quantify, but it has been enormous, and he has helped shape the way poets have thought about culture, myth, identity, and performance for the last 50+ years (since his first anthology New Young German Poets in 1959, which included the first English translations of Paul Celan).
