Party! Join us at a reception to celebrate the Ann Arbor Book Festival exhibit now on display in the North Lobby of the Hatcher Library. The exhibit features information about authors who will participate in the festival June 22-23 as well as a section on children’s books related to Michigan.
The life and achievements of keynote speakers Christopher Paul Curtis and Adam Mansbach are highlighted. Children's books written or illustrated by people from Ann Arbor and Michigan, and some on Michigan topics, including signed copies and reproductions of originals, come largely from the Special Collections Library (the Walp Collection, the Pohrt Archive, the Blos Archive, and the Rod Ruth Archive).
All are welcome. For more information about the Ann Arbor Book Festival and the many other events planned, see aabookfestival.org.
