Purpose of the MLibrary's Gallery in Room 100
The Gallery in Room 100 of the Hatcher Graduate Library (enter from the Diag side) is meant to be a gathering place for the enrichment of the intellectual, educational and cultural life of the University of Michigan campus and the larger community. The MLibrary aspires to:
- showcase and interpret the MLibrary's rich collections, promote their scholarly use, and use collections to facilitate scholarship and storytelling;
- support the Library's role as an intellectual center of the University;
- foster relationships between the MLibrary and University of Michigan faculty, students, alumni, staff, and the state and local community.
Programs in the Library Gallery present the opportunity to generate discussion and a spirit of cooperative exploration. The Gallery is meant to be a lively place reflecting the dynamic nature of the University of Michigan's research and teaching activities.

Public parking is available in the structure at 650 S. Forest, just south of S. University Ave. Street parking may be available on Tappan St.
